Japan should take initiative for the reduction of disaster risks from geohazards. Moreover, capacity building and human resource development are important especially for developing countries. We will construct web-based international network for future communication.

Japan is the advanced country regarding to the disaster countermeasures and we should take an initiative for future disaster risk reduction. In this workshop, we will discuss how to offer the expertise to the other countries. We then try to develop “Capacity Building Model” of Japanese origin.
