We held the public forum named “Challenge to model village”
The aim of this forum is to make new, safe and sustainable agricultural life style.
All of participants discussed 4 themes below. (1) Proposal of “Cool agriculture”, (2) How to produce biomass energy in your area – sustainable energy for all, (3) Proposal of farming villages with disaster-preventive and multilateral functions of forests, (4) Vitalization of farming for protecting safety and environment of local communities.
Some of participants joined TASCR education program in this year. Then, from this forum, relationship between deferent generation of Masters.
We could get a lot of opinions from the participants. Next year, we will continue to create some projects that can support more effective rehabilitation and reconstruction.

After the GEJE, the supply chain of goods and energy were paralyzed.Students who received the Certification from the TASCR program in September 2014 propose food- and energy-independent village systems. We would like to discuss leading technologies and their implementation to construct a happy and secure life in ‘model village’ in the Tohoku region.
