We opened the earthquake disaster collection of Tohoku University for visitors. And we exhibited a record of the restoration and damage situation of the Tohoku University Library in the Great East Japan Earthquake. We could tell the importance of preservation and exhibition of the records and memories.
To commemorate the conference, we held a “The Amazing Collections of Tohoku University Library” exhibition. Many viewers visited the exhibition, and they could know the excellence of rare books and the beauty of Japanese old books in this library.
